About me

Hello,

My name is Warre / Wes. I was born and raised in Belgium, surrounded by my beautiful family. Touched by natures beauty, I always enjoyed time spent capturing butterflies, birds and the world's wonder around me.

At age 14 I met a wedding photographer who witnessed this wonder within me and invited me to join his team. That is when I started to discover that there is more to a lense than just nature photography.

In my further teenage years i did much experimentation with different styles and subjects, meanwhile studying Social Work in Ghent, Belgium. This simultanious passion of photography and social work led me to this deep desire to discover the stories behind people; and how their lives are spoken through their expression, their gaze, and their wrinkles- or lack of. I believe this storytelling is what connects us, and unites us.

During that time I discovered the streets of a bigger city and found love in street photographs. I fell in love with portrait photography; taking a strong liking to the Black and White world. There is something about it that I adore. The oldschool, like a poem from the beat generation. Raw, unfiltered.

In the intention to broaden my lense and my storytelling, I spent some years traveling the world; taking in new eyes from everywhere I felt inspired. The Bluesy tones of South America changed my life forever, a space I and my camera will never forget.

At this moment, my heart lives in Australia. Here I live with my beautiful soulmate Amber, an Australian i met during my travels. Currently we live in a beautiful home in the bushland of Brunswick Heads, amongst the beach, the river, and wonderful community.

Specialising in weddings from a very young age, I have captured many love stories over the years. However I have also worked professionally with many exciting brands and amazing models from all over the world.

I believe this is just the beginning of my journey, and I am so excited to collaborate with new brands, couples and/or models to create our own unique story.

I'd love to meet you. I'd love to capture your ideas, and meet them with mine. ``

Lets make them vivid, lets make them real.

So much love.
